"The Nonprofit Corporation ADP-VV FPD LA-USA Lay Missionaries, always in communion with the ADP-VV FPD IT-EU Lay Missionaries, does not have lucrative aims, and has as aims the growth and deepening of the Spiritual and charitable life of a group of faithful who intend on living more concretely and closely the missionary characteristics belonging to the pfsgm" (By-Laws ADP-VV FPD Lay Missionaries, Constitutional Preamble)
TYPES OF ADP-VV-FPD MISSIONARIES:
In this Association, three different types of lay missionaries are distinguished:
F - ADP-VV FULL TIME Missionaries: are those who decide to give everything to God as laity through this Corporation, living in the guesthouses of the "ad usum" psfgm convents or in the immediate vicinity, who try to use all their time and resources above all at the servi ce of the apostolic and charitable works of the pfsgm, often helping them with urgent or necessary trave I (given that the pfsgm do not bave their own means of transport) or with other materia! needs, but above all in the organized missions of Evangelization and Charity, both in US and also in the Third World.
P - ADP-VV PART-TIME Missionaries: are those who decide to give approximately half of their time to God as laity through this Corporation and, despite living slightly away from the communities of the Consecrated, to dedicate a good part of their time and of their resources at the service of the works of Apostolate and Charity of the pfsgm community, also helping them, as they are able, in urgent or necessary trave! or in other materiai needs, but above ali - also in this case - in the organized missions of Evangelization and Charity, both in US and also in the Third World.
D - ADP-VV LONG DISTANCE Missionaries: are those who decide to give part of their time to God, as laity, through this Corporation, despite living far away (even outside the country) from the pfsgm communities, dedicating part of their free time and of their resources at the service of the works of Apostolate and Charity of the pfsgm community, through the initiatives of the full-time and part-time Missionaries.
